How good is our God who gives us each new day.
Days to work along side Daddy

Days to chat with a brother who is recovering from the flu

Days to build a fort

Days to work with our hands...(shh...Christmas nightgowns for the girls...)

(...and an apron for Susannah)

Days to ride with the goats??? :) (Soon to be our Christmas Service Supper)

Days to..... I didn't even ask

Days to laugh and have fun together

Days to bake goodies

Which are about to be consumed as we leave to go Christmas caroling with the church

Hope you are enjoying the many blessings each day of the Lord holds.

Jaynee, I have been reading your blog for a while. Although I hardly ever leave comments, I feel as thought I had to comment on the Nativity Scene picture. I just started to giggle when I saw that picture. That is something that my kids would have done. Thanks for giving me a good giggle. Praying that your family has a wonderful Christmas Season. Thank you for serving our Lord on the Mission Field!!! With Love from Michigan,

I know you have to eat but....awwwww poor goats! ;o)
Love the manger scene. HA!
That manger scene sure made me chuckle! :) :)
The pictures are lovely, and give me a glimps of your days.
How do you prepare/cook the goat? I just finished a 1/2 beef and set a side a lovely roast to cook when my dad comes for an early Christmas this weekend.
Great pictures. Aren't working with Daddy days the best?
I love the fort with the BRICK balancing on the top :-)
And that nativity scene made me giggle too~

Great Pictures!
Those rolls look delicious. I can never get my bread to rise properly or they end up with a really bad taste. Would you mind sharing your recipe? Thank you!
God Bless! :)
We have one of our boy goats in the freezer now, and he is yummy. We also have six boys that have just been born, and they are so delicious to eat - no different to lamb. :D
I love the nativity scene. :)
Blessings,
Jillian
Sounds like y'all have been very busy! I too can see my kids rearranging the nativity :) Loved the picture of the boys covered in flour...looks like they had fun with the baking :) I wish I could sew, the girls nightgowns and apron are too cute.
Dear Jaynee, loved the pictures, definatly brought a smile to my day..my kids also do the same thing with our nativity scene. I'm assuming those lovely looking bakes goods are cinnamon rolls?? if so any chance of sharing the recipe they look so nice and I've been looking for a good recipe for 3 years since our last trip to the states. Definatly yummy memories..
Prayers for you all

Jaynee,
I promise I didn't rearrange the manger scene this time. I want to know which child takes after their Aunt. Tell the goats good bye for me. :)

Wow, those cinnamon rolls look very good! Looks like you have had busy days. It sounds as if you are going to have a nice Christmas dinner - except it might take some work to prepare! :-) Thanks for the pics!

Jennstar- I don't cook the goat...a lady in our church does ;) Here they make birria with it; birria is a soup made from boiling the meat until it is very tender and adding yummy spices to the broth. You top it with lemon and onion and eat it with rice and tortillas. It's delicious!
Karen- The cinnamon roll recipe is really yummy and easy! One of the reasons I like it so much is because don't have to knead the dough in this recipe. If your bread isn't rising, I would think that either your yeast isn't good. I always add my yeast to warm liquid (whether water or milk depending on what I'm baking).
Email me if you want me to send you the recipe for the rolls.

Fun pictures....It is so funny to see your children outside making a fort. It is unthinkable to be playing outside here. Cute apron and nightgowns for your girls. Hope you all are enjoying this wonderful season.

Oh my, I also wanted to thank you for praying for me. That is so sweet and a blessing indeed. God is so good!!! I know he has protected my womb for a reason.....many more reasons to come I believe :) Bless you.
The nativity arrangment put a smile on my face. Thanks for the pictures:)
Thanks for all the pics. Lovely family. Inspiring.
I admire ability to sew. The nightgowns are lovely -- where do you get the inspirational flannel? It is so good to put God's truth all around us. Now that I have a girl I may have to learn to sew also. Such fabric would inspire me to give it a try ...
